Ruben y Sabrina Veliz

Sabrina & Ruben start their artistic career in the well known Ballet Brandsen in 1989, as cast members during 8 years. With this company they tour extensively throughout Latin America.
In early 1997 they start their career as a solo couple traveling worldwide with shows as “Tango Emotion” directed by Mora Godoy, “Tango x2” directed by Miguel Angel Zotto, Piazzola Tango” directed by Milena Plebs among others as well as with their creations as Radio Latina, Argentina Tango on Stage,Tango Corazonicos & Dramatic Tango. They were cast in the Nueva Compañia Tangueros as first dancers with wich they premiered the show “Milonga Boulevard” in New York playing the lead couple and their work received excellent reviews from critic Jack Anderson of the”New York Times”. Sabrina & Ruben take part to the most important festivals worldwide.
An exciting moment of their career has been the appearance during the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Queen Beatrix of Holland reign, performing Gallo Ciego with a choreography especially created for this occasion. This event was TV broadcast and viewed by 3.500.000 people.

“Joe” Corbata y Lucila Cionci

Lucila Cionci and Rodrigo “Joe” Corbata founded in 2007 “Formula Tango”, the union of the years of individual experience in shows and festivals.
Surprising is the great plasticity and expressiveness of there dancing presenting innovative choreographic elements and a particular and personal way to improvise; This led them to participate in the most important tango festivals worldwide.
Argentina, Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Turkey, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Spain, Korea, South Africa, Russia, Canada, the United States are the countries where “Joe” and Lucila expressed a philosophy of the original teaching able to get a very good response from students at all levels.

Neri Piliu y Yanina Quiñones

Yanina Valeria Quiñones and Neri Luciano Piliu dance together since 2006. They were professionally trained at the Academia de Estilos de Tango Argentino (ACETA) by famous milongueros and teachers.
They took part in tango competitions in Buenos Aires where they won the first place in both Tango Salon and Escenario: Pre-World Champions-North Zone Tango Salón in 2006/2007, Pre-World Champions West-South Area Tango Show in 2006, Baradero Festival Champions Tango Escenario in 2006 and they gained the second place in the Tango Salon World Championship in 2008, which is held annually in Buenos Aires.
They have performed in the most important Milongas in Buenos Aires, Europe and the World, and have also worked and continue to work with the most important tango companies.

Mariana Montes

Mariana Montes Dancer, Choreographer and Argentine Tango Teacher World famous artist, recognized all over the world through her extensive career. She have contributed to the evolution of Argentine Tango at an international level. She has 30 years of dance, and 20 years dancing with Sebastian Arce, a world-renowned artist. They have done a lot to promote tango abroad, from their love and commitment to teaching, organizing tango events, and dancing.
Her work has led her to visit over 140 cities, 35 countries, and counting since 1998.
Together with Sebastian Arce they have produced events all over the world
Since 1998, Mariana has been teaching. Her name can easily be found at the top of the list of the most renowned annual international tango events.
In 2014 Mariana founded her Tango School in Cagliari Sardinia ASD Mariana Montes Tango Club, today it is the most important tango school on the whole island of Sardinia.

Jonny Carvajal y Suyay Quiroga

Suyay Quiroga and Jonny Carvajal are the 2023 Tango Pista World Champions and previously World Vice-Champions. She is Argentine, born in Morón. At the age of six, thanks to a friend of his father, he discovered tango in a club in Morón.For Suyay, this was her third Tango World Cup. She says she trained couples to compete but did not participate in the tournaments. This time, she decided to show up and asked Jonny to accompany her.
Jonny is Colombian. He was born and raised in Manizales, north of Bogotá. He started dancing tango at the age of nine. “It was an activity my parents took me to after school. For me it was a game and a lot of fun,” he says. It wasn’t until he was 15 that he realized it was a passion.“There I discovered improvisation in tango and it blew me away. Up until that point it was just fun. Then I realized that I wanted to dedicate myself to dancing tango.” In the meantime, he studies classical dance and also different Colombian rhythms. “I came here, to Buenos Aires, ten years ago, because I wanted to learn more about tango. And I never left. I became a teacher and a professional dancer. In the meantime she studies classical dance and also different Colombian rhythms. She moves to Buenos Aires and together with Suyay she perfects her dance.

Julian Sanchez y Bruna Estellita

Julian Sanchez and Bruna Estellita are World Champions of Tango Escenario 2023. Their dance combines the highest technical skill of classical tango for the dance floor, the artistry and power of stage tango, with a special depth and emotional expressiveness. They have been main soloists of the best tango companies and houses in Buenos Aires.

Ezequiel Lopez y Camila Alegre

Camila and Ezequiel met in 2012 at the Tango World Cup of that year in which they participated with their former partners and two years later began their journey together.
Camila was trained in the prestigious Municipal Ballet of San Fernando and studied ballet and contemporary dance at the Julio Boca Institute.
Ezequiel started his steps in the Municipal Ballet of Arrecifes, Buenos Aires led by his father Carlos López. He also studied ballet and contemporary dance as well as Folklore and Malambo.
They worked at the best Tango Venues in Buenos Aires Show, and the famous Tango Porteño were they are currently part of the regular company. They participated in the film Un Tango Màs that premiered in 2015 and worked with the worldwide famous dancers Maria Nieves & Juan Carlos Copes in which lives the film was based.
They are World Champions of Tango Stage 2015, winning the competition (held in Buenos Aires, Argentina) with the best total score ever.

Carlos Estigarribia y Marina Alcalde

When Marina Alcalde steps onto the field, she lowers her shoulders, raises her chin and smiles. And as soon as the first chords of a tango are played, it is as if a light illuminates her with every step she takes. In her academy in Urduliz, the awards brought by the World Championship of Tango de Pista shine.
Together with her dance partner, Carlos Estigarribia, she came in third in the final of the competition and the public chose them as their favorites, a success that came unexpectedly. They knew each other from other competitions and in February he proposed that they perform together.
When it was their turn to go on the dance floor, everything went smoothly. They passed the tests and received a lot of applause, until in the final they received the big reward.
Carlos Estigarribia has been living in Salento since 2019, where he teaches at the Beltango school with the passion, love and perseverance that distinguish him. Carlos is loved all over the world because he has brought his extraordinary art, experience and style everywhere: he has worked, taught and danced in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Spain, France, Korea just to name a few countries. He started dancing tango when he was sixteen and has never stopped.

Leandro Capparelli y Jeannette Erazù

Jeannette is the Tango Champion of the city of Buenos Aires 2022.
Leandro is the Tango World Subchampion (second place) 2022 and has also been chosen by the people as the best couple of the Tango World Championship 2022. Also awarded the title of champion of Cosquin, Baradero and 'Torneos juveniles bonaerenses' (Buenos Aires youth tournaments ).
Currently, Leandro and Jeannette teach and they are the creators and producers of the tango group 'Titanes del escenario y pista' (Titans of the stage and pista) and together they train couples to become professional tango dancers.They are truly passionate tango dancers and teachers. They have traveled all over the world with several famous tango companies and taught in different studios in the United States, Europe and Asia coaching and teaching for competitions or personal enjoyment.

Lucas Guevara y Daniela Bravo

Daniela Bravo and Lucas Guevara moved to the Tango Cathedral more than three years ago to continue their studies. They have reached the finals of tango escenario for three consecutive years: 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2022 they achieved third place in the escenario category and in 2023 the second place.
They were students at the Academia Rumores de Milonga in Santiago. They continue to study and at the 2024 World Cup they ranked 6th in the Escenario category. They have participated in several festivals in China, the Middle East and Europe.

Lucas Gauto y Naima Gerasopoulou

Lucas Gauto and Naima Gerasopoulou came in 4th place at the 2019 Buenos Aires World Championship and 4th place at the 2024 Buenos Aires World Championship.
Naima Gerasopoulou began her career with dance at a very young age, initially with classical ballet and rhythmic gymnastics while also pursuing other types of dance. But when she got to know the tango she was dedicated to it.
Lucas Gauto started his career with Tango at the age of 12 in Argentina and has since achieved many successes, reaching No. 3 at the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires in the Tango de Pista category. He has taught at Buenos Aires and Cordoba milongas and schools and has performed at major Buenos Aires milongas as well as at Argentine and European Festivals along with major Argentinean dancers and maestros.
Their joint course begins in August 2015 in Argentina.

ARTISTIC ACTIVITY:
2020 – 2022: Summoned by theater producer Diego Djeredjian, he begins his solo career in which he mixes different musical styles. Rock, pop and classical music converge in the same system prioritizing the leading role of the violin as a solo instrument. He is the author of his own arrangements of popular music songs, and modernized accompaniments of classical violin works.

2018-2020: he gives chamber concerts in the violin and piano duo format in different auditoriums in the city of Buenos Aires with the pianist Edgardo Roffé. The repertoire varies between music from the classical period, works of virtuoso flight, and popular music from Argentina and Eastern Europe (eg: Aires gypsies de Sarasate, Balada de Porumbescu).

2012- 2020: First violin in the Argentine popular music orchestra SEXTETO MILONGUERO . With which he has made 2 tours of Latin America, 2 tours of the United States, 10 tours of Europe touring more than 30 countries, in addition to Canada, China and Singapore. It is worth highlighting his performances in theaters of the stature of the Moscow International House of Music, the Musis Arnhem in the Netherlands, and the Tonhalle in Dusseldorf, among other prestigious venues; until the dissolution of the group in 2020. He has collaborated as a guest in presentations and recordings with other tango orchestras such as La Misteriosa Buenos Aires, and has ventured into other popular styles with singer-songwriter Craig Einhorn from the United States.

2007- 2009: First violin in the City of Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Enrique Roel.

2008: Guide for second violins at the Camerata of the Technological University of Buenos Aires.

2005- 2007: Participated in the Baroque Music ensemble “La Tempestad” (dedicated to the repertoire of said artistic period), an orchestra that has highlighted its performances in numerous churches and halls in the city of Buenos Aires. STUDIES: 2010- 2011: Private Classes with Violinist Frank Preuss, in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.

2001- 2009: Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of Music, in the city of Buenos Aires. Private classes as well as institutional classes with the violinist Professor Janos Morel.

Gaz Blanco

Born in Puglia, Castellana Grotte (Ba), GaZ is a photographer of Architecture, Design, Art specialized in Reportages of Events and in Visual Food Reportages. He is graduated in Architecture and Urban Design at the Politecnico di Bari, then specializing in Landscape Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, and Ho.re.ca. Design at PoliDesign Academy. Gold Winner 2020 at Px3 Paris Prize, he has gathered acknowledgement from publishers and authors of books (Dulio Roberto, who wrote a monography of the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, Beatriz Dujovne, psychologist and scholar of the cultural phenomenon of Tango Argentino), mainly due to photographic production related to Argentine Tango, Architecture and Landscape.

Alejandro Rumolino

Alejandro is a freelance videographer and still photographer based in Paris, France.
In the recent years Alejandro has worked on a variety of projects, mostly for musicians and dancers.

He started his careers as a graphic designer in Buenos Aires, Argentina and continued in Paris, France. In 1999 he got his first semiprofessional video camera and started shooting short videos. Very quickly he realized his passion for videography. In 2000. his video “mission tango” was awarded 2nd place in the Apple Expo. In 2003. One of his videos was featured in the ARTE.TV series “Danse la bas”.

In 2012 he opened his own photo studio and expanded his video work to still photography.

Alejandro combines his love for art forms of music and dance and filmmaking, telling the stories seen from his point of view through music videos, LPK’s, and teasers for different dance or music festivals and events.

When telling his video stories, he relies on his intuitivism and fluidity, exploring the sensitivity to present his stories in a deeply touching way, trying to bring the perceived atmosphere of the moment captured by his camera to the eyes of the future viewer.

Whether working as a photographer or videographer his contributions to either medium remains the same: he is an artist that can see things that others may quickly dismiss, his original eye and unique perspective, and the way a scene is successfully composed. His agility and love of arts and attention to detail complement his work as a visual artist.
